Bio: Lando Jones is a Motivational Hip Hop Artist who resides in the state of Missouri. Lando Jones is a feel-good story of success ripped from the jaws of failure. He comes from a dysfunctional upbringing resulting in a “pass around” childhood. During his childhood and late adolescence, his parents suffered from a drug and alcohol addiction. At a young age, he was almost separated from his parents by the Missouri state division of family services, but was, instead, taken in by his grandmother and aunt. A significant moment of impact for his life occurred before he entered high school, when a drunk driver hit his aunt’s vehicle, killing two of his cousins. After surviving from this car accident he felt called from God to use his gift to motivate the world toward truth. He was personally mentored by a local widow who saw the potential in a young rambunctious basketball playing rapper. He went to college on a basketball scholarship (Missouri Baptist University) and graduated with a Business degree. While in college his music talent exploded on the college campus scene, and he began performing at multiple events. Lando Jones was named the Grand Prize Winner at Creation Festival 2015 after competing against 60 different independent artists. Many things have tried to stop him in life, but instead of complaining about how difficult life was he allowed his challenges to become his motivation to reach his dreams. After finishing college, he has dedicated most of his energy encouraging young people to strive for greatness in the classroom, at conferences, and on big stages with some of the top christian artists in the music industry.
