Petronia is from Louisville, KY where she began publicly singing at the age of 9. Her first solo at church was “I Made A Vow”. Due to her diligence in improving her musical craft, she was graciously selected to tour in Europe in 1978. Here she was given the opportunity to tour 7 countries showcasing her melodious voice with the America’s Youth in Concert.
She attended Tennessee State University, and while in attendance she joined and recorded with B C & M Choir. Additional accomplishments include award winning church performances as well as lead solo artist at the Louisville Black Expo.
